ICUsteps Chester is a support group for those who have been through the trauma of life-threatening critical illness. We were established December 2016.
You are welcome to our informal, drop-in meeting no matter where you have been hospitalised, it is open to anyone who has been through intensive care as a patient, relative or health care professional.
If you want to talk to people who really understand what you’ve been through or you wish to help others who’ve had a similar experience, please come along.
Sharing experiences with others relieves that feeling of isolation and helps each to appreciate that they are not alone with what they think and feel and that it is often par for the course for anyone who’s been through critical illness. If anyone has issues unfamiliar to the group or too personal for general discussion, we will try and point in the direction of best practical help.
We look forward to meeting you.
