ICUsteps London is a support group for ex-ICU patients, their families and friends run by former intensive care patients and health professionals. It was developed to provide on-going support after discharge for patients and relatives who have encountered critical illness. Anyone who has been affected by critical illness whether as a patient, relative or friend are welcome to attend our group.
Talking to people who fully understand your experiences can really help in the recovery of critical illness or you may like to help others by talking about your experiences. A huge part of recovery is realising that you are not alone and often what you are experiencing is quite normal for anyone who has been affected by critical illness.
